Hello friends and family! Sorry for the 2 month blog vacay, but I am finally back in Germany! The day after my last post, Serge and I flew to Venice for a 10-night Mediterranean cruise through the Greek Islands. We had an AMAZING time! It was definitely one of our best vacations yet! While we were cruising around Greece I checked my email and found a letter from my mom saying that I had become an aunt!! My sister had had her baby 6 weeks early! I was able to talk to my mom and find out that my niece and sister were both doing really well, and Serge and I had a great time on the rest of our trip. The evening we got back from Venice, Serge jumped on the phone with the airline, moved up my flight home to the US, and 2 days later I was ringing my sister's doorbell, surprising her with my early arrival, and meeting my new beautiful little niece! It was quite a whirlwind!
I had a wonderful time at home, getting to know my niece, spending time with my family, and enjoying the beautiful, sunny weather! I really missed Serge though, of course! :-) I got back to Germany about a week ago, and Serge and I soon jumped on another plane to London! We went to 2 concerts and spent some time walking around the city, experiencing all that London has to offer. It was a blast! I have a ton of pictures to upload, from the Mediterranean cruise and London, so I'll get on that ASAP! I just wanted to let you all know that I am back in Germany, safe and sound and will get back to blogging more regularly, so check back soon for more updates! I hope you all are enjoying the summer!
