Frankfurt Trip

When my parents headed home after Christmas, Serge and I took the train with them to Frankfurt, bid them adieu at the airport, then spent the next two nights hanging out in the only German city with skyscrapers!  Our good friends, Brian and Catherine flew into Frankfurt the day after my parents left, which helped ease the sadness of seeing my parents go.  We had a great week with great friends, and I'd like to share some pictures from their trip here!  First off, fun times in Frankfurt.  Thanks to Catherine for the photos!

Outside our hotel, The Westin Grand

Thankfully breakfast was included in our rate.  It was regularly 32 Euros a pop, and Tater loves her breakfast! (Fwwuuit, Ceweal, Waffles, Milk, Juice!)
Serge must've said something funny!

Coffee break at Zarges, which sounds like Serges :-)

Handsome fellas

Cheers!

Shopping for snow boots!
I ended up buying these, and it hasn't snowed a day since...

This picture does not do these things justice. They are gigantic, and they literally say "Moon Boot." I don't know if y'all have these in the US, but I have seen quite a few Germans sporting them. They're hilarious!

Now this is the kind of bag I need for week-long trips!

Doing a little sightseeing.  Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus

Brian and Catherine by the Main River

Walking in a Winter Wonderland!

The Loves

Lunch at Adolf Wagner, an authentic German restaurant known for their Apfelwein

Had to get a close-up of the name for Nate and Crista.
What do y'all think, little baby Adolf??  It obviously goes well with Wagner! :-)

Zum Wohl!

 Their apple wine was awesome!
And so was their fried brie cheese salad! :-)

Obviously we also needed a picture with the sign.

That's all for now, but I'll update soon with more pictures from their visit!
