It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Our first Christmas in Germany is just over a week away, and we are really getting excited about it!  Our tree is up, we've started our shopping, and I've spent the past 2 nights in the kitchen baking treats for the neighbors and Serge's coworkers! :-) My parents will be here next week, and we really can't wait to spend the holidays with them and show them around our new home!  Here's a little preview of what they can look forward to! :-)

Kornmarkt, our little square!
This was on the way to the Chinese buffet for our "authentic" Thanksgiving dinner!

Huge Christmas tree in our mall

Enjoying a Glühwein at the Bahnhof Christmas Market in Wetzlar

Hanging out by the fire

Schillerplatz, the other Christmas Market in Wetzlar

We're totally regulars here!

Sergio, enjoying "the usual" :-)

Burger and Fries, how American of you!

View from our living room

Looks so pretty covered in snow!

At the Baumarkt, picking out our tree!
It was snowing, but you can't really tell here.

My manly man, chopping and bagging our tree all by himself :-)

We went to a Bosch expatriate orientation in Schillerhöhe, so we spent the weekend in nearby Stuttgart

 Stuttgart Christmas Market

And again in front of the castle

Haha! Lautenschlager Straße! Representing for Larry! :-)

Braunfels Christmas Market

Braunfels Castle in the background

Leaving Braunfels with a bag of Christmas goodies!

Back to the Wetzlar Christmas Market
It was snowing!

Bratwurst...

...and beer, how German of me!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

It was seriously coming down!

Flowers from the Domplatz Farmers Market

The Bahnhof Christmas Market is very convenient -
We went to Intersport for a yoga mat and had to get a Glühwein on the way out!

WE WISH YOU ALL A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
