Cruising Around the Greek Isles

As I wrote earlier, Serge and I spent an amazing 10 nights back in April aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship sailing through the Mediterranean from Venice to 7 different Greek Islands.  We had an absolute blast, sightseeing, eating, and lounging in the first warm sunshine we'd experienced since moving to Germany! ;-) We took about 200 photos, but here are the highlights:

How many bags does one pack for 12 days? As many as possible!

We were so excited to be in shorts! :-)

Doing a split in Split, of course!

This was right after I learned that my baby niece had been born!

We made it to a beach! :-)

The rain stopped, so we came back out on the island to check out the windmills.

I love all the white-washed buildings with blue roofs!

You have to walk up over 600 steps to get to the top of the island, or you can ride a donkey, or take a cable car.  We took the cable car up and walked down by foot because I felt so bad for the donkeys! They were sweet :-)
